What should I pick first?
Start with a win condition or one card you want to play. Form a shape with the second card, then connect attack or defense with the third — you will rarely feel lost.
What is a good average elixir?
The right answer depends on the deck type: fast-cycle decks run light, big-push decks run heavy. Look beyond the average — can you act early, and can you turn defense into attack?
What should I check after picking all 8?
Check for gaps: anti-air, swarm clear, tank absorption, spells, buildings, hand cycle. Understanding your weaknesses and playing around them beats trying to cover everything.
About Assist
Does Assist auto-build the strongest deck?
No. It surfaces candidates that fit your current deck and answers to tough matchups, helping you decide. Your favorite cards and your comfort stay in the deck.
What do third-card candidates look at?
Given your two cards, whether a candidate helps the attack connect, makes the defense hold, or fills a weakness. Not a fixed three-card set — one card that moves your work-in-progress forward.
How do I use “tough matchups”?
It helps you picture, in advance, the opponents your current shape will struggle with. Use it as a prompt: add a counter card, or plan to outplay with what you have.
Matchups that look bad can often be handled through refinement and judgment. Covering every weakness with cards is not the only way — knowing your deck’s quirks and choosing what to cover with skill is where you shine.

What are popular decks useful for?
For knowing what is common in the meta. Beyond copying whole decks, you can find structures close to yours and spot the roles or counter cards you are missing.
Is the display always the same?
The meta moves, so popular decks and card trends update too. Short windows track fashion; long windows show stable tendencies.
Features & privacy
Can I copy a deck to the game?
Once your deck has all 8 cards, the copy-to-game button becomes available. If your device or browser behaves differently, rebuild it manually using the card names.
Can I copy a deck from the game?
With fewer than 8 cards picked, the same button becomes “Paste from Game.” Copy a deck link in Clash Royale first, then press it to load the 8 cards from the link. If it fails, make sure the game actually produced a deck-share link.
Do I need to log in?
Basic deck building needs no login. Saving and some personal features may use one. Details are in the privacy policy.
Will there be ads?
To keep the site running, ads may appear in the future — placed and sized so they never get in the way of deck building.
